I can't believe I'm quoting something from the Bible. Since I admit I am, I like the following, because of its being etched on my great-grandfather's (Edwin Augustus Long, my maternal grandfather's father) tomb, in Johnson City, Tennessee. He, and his son and daughter in law) was a life-long Methodist there, and so I respect his devotion to his religion.
